The President’s Reception will be from 5:15 to 8:30 PM on Thursday, December 1^st.  All conference participants are invited to join their colleagues for dinner, networking, conversation and jazz. Posters submitted for display will be available throughout the evening. Poster scholarships are available, see website.

Harriet Hardy Award Presentation

The NECOEM Board of Directors has selected Michael Erdil, MD, as the recipient of the 2016 Harriet Hardy Award.  Dr. Erdil is Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Occupational Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. In addition, he consults with the Occupational and Environmental Health Network (OEHN).

Nursing Excellence Awards Presentation

The MaAOHN Board of Directors will present the Dorothy Reid Lifetime Achievement Award to Susan Legendre, MS, RN, COHN-S. The Board will also present the Nurse Excellence award to Margaret Watts, RN, and the Moore Medical Award to Michael Dolliver, RN, MHA, COHN-S, to recognize outstanding service in occupational health.

NECOEM and MaAOHN Membership Luncheons

The annual membership meetings for MaAOHN and NECOEM will be held at noon on Friday, December 2^nd.  NECOEM is delighted to welcome James Tacci, MD, MPH, JD, FACOEM, President of ACOEM, as speaker during the NECOEM luncheon.

NECOEM and MaAOHN reduce their carbon footprint.
In acknowledging our part to protect the environment, at the 2016 annual conference, all materials will be available to registrants online for easy download prior to the conference.  The conference evaluation will also be available online only. Paper and other products will be recycled at the hotel in designated bins.
